Trekking Day-by-Day Itinerary:
Day 1: Londorossi Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp
Commence your journey at Londorossi Gate, where experienced guides and porters await. Embark on a trek through the enchanting rainforest, home to unique flora and fauna. Your day culminates at Mti Mkubwa Camp, where you can unwind amidst the vibrant natural surroundings.
Day 2: Mti Mkubwa Camp to Shira I Camp
Bid farewell to the rainforest and venture into a new world as you ascend to the Shira Plateau. Marvel at the vistas of Shira Cathedral and Shira Needle. Your day concludes at Shira I Camp, nestled at 11,480 feet, offering you a glimpse of the high-altitude desert’s beauty.
Day 3: Shira I Camp to Moir Camp
Today’s trek takes you across the desolate Shira Plateau, leading towards the Lent Hills. Here, you’ll encounter striking rock formations and breathtaking panoramic views. Moir Camp, situated at the base of the Lent Hills, provides a tranquil overnight stop.
Day 4: Moir Camp to Barranco Camp
Leave Moir Camp behind and traverse the Lunar Desert as you ascend to the Lava Tower, which stands impressively at 15,190 feet. Descend to Barranco Camp, where you’ll be treated to awe-inspiring sights like the towering Barranco Wall and the expansive Karanga Valley.
Day 5: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp

Day 6: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp

Day 7: Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak to Mweka Camp
The most challenging yet rewarding day has arrived. Commence the summit attempt guided by the soft glow of headlamps. As you ascend to Uhuru Peak, the roof of Africa, savor the breathtaking sunrise over the African continent. Descend to Mweka Camp for a well-deserved rest.
Day 8: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate

Day 9: Departure from Tanzania
