Day-by-Day Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi and Transfer to Amboseli
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your guide who will transfer you to Amboseli National Park. Enjoy a scenic drive through rural Kenya, and upon arrival at your lodge, settle in and savor a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in Amboseli, famous for its large elephant herds, breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, and abundant wildlife. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2-3: Amboseli National Park
Spend two full days exploring the wonders of Amboseli National Park. Start early to catch the sunrise and the best wildlife sightings. Marvel at the towering presence of Mount Kilimanjaro as a backdrop to your game drives, which will take you through grassy plains and marshes where diverse wildlife roams. Keep an eye out for lions, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, and various bird species. Enjoy picnic lunches in the heart of the park and immerse yourself in the captivating beauty of Amboseli. Return to your lodge each evening for dinner and relaxation.
Day 4-6: Tsavo National Park (East and West)
Bid farewell to Amboseli as you journey to Tsavo National Park – the largest wildlife sanctuary in Kenya, divided into Tsavo East and Tsavo West. Spend the next three days exploring the incredible landscapes and abundant wildlife of both sections. Venture into the vast wilderness on game drives, searching for elephants, leopards, rhinos, and other magnificent creatures. Marvel at the Mzima Springs, a natural oasis where hippos and crocodiles reside. Enjoy the serenity of the African bush and watch the sunset over the horizon. Overnight stays will be in lodges within the park.
