Day-by-Day Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Welcome to Kenya! Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you’ll be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi. Rest and prepare for the adventure ahead.
Day 2: Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve (Approximately 6 hours)
After breakfast, depart for Samburu National Reserve, known for its diverse wildlife and unique ecosystem. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy a thrilling game drive, spotting elephants, lions, leopards, and more.
Day 3: Samburu National Reserve
Today is dedicated to exploring the Samburu National Reserve. Embark on morning and afternoon game drives, led by expert guides who will help you spot rare species such as Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, and Somali ostrich. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the Ewaso Nyiro River and keep your eyes peeled for crocodiles and hippos.
Day 4: Samburu to Aberdare National Park (Approximately 4 hours)
Bid farewell to Samburu as you make your way to Aberdare National Park, a lush highland forest. Experience a unique stay at a deluxe tree lodge overlooking a waterhole, where you can observe wildlife from the comfort of your room. Enjoy a night game drive to see nocturnal animals come alive.
Day 5: Aberdare National Park
Delve deeper into Aberdare’s enchanting landscape. Embark on a guided nature walk, witnessing the park’s rich flora and fauna. Later, visit the Chania Falls and take in the breathtaking scenery. Enjoy leisure time at the lodge, keeping an eye out for elephants, buffalos, and hyenas that often visit the waterhole.
Day 6: Aberdare to Nairobi (Approximately 4 hours)
Leave Aberdare behind and return to Nairobi. Spend the rest of the day exploring the city’s vibrant markets, museums, and cultural sites. Indulge in local cuisine and immerse yourself in Nairobi’s bustling atmosphere.
Day 7: Nairobi National Park
Start your day with a visit to Nairobi National Park, a unique wildlife haven located just outside the city. Enjoy a game drive and spot various animals, including rhinos, lions, and giraffes against the backdrop of Nairobi’s skyscrapers. In the afternoon, visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and the Giraffe Centre, where you can learn about conservation efforts.
Day 8: Departure
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your onward journey or extend your stay to explore more of Kenya’s wonders. Bid farewell to the wild beauty of Samburu and Aberdare Wilderness, taking unforgettable memories with you.
