Day-by-Day Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our representative who will escort you to your hotel. Take some time to relax and prepare for the thrilling journey ahead.
Day 2: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Lake Mburo National Park, known for its rich biodiversity and picturesque landscapes. Arrive at your lodge and settle in before venturing out for a late afternoon game drive to spot wildlife such as zebras, impalas, and giraffes.
Day 3: Game Drive and Boat Safari in Lake Mburo National Park
Start the day with a refreshing early morning game drive through Lake Mburo National Park, where you’ll have the chance to spot a variety of wildlife, including buffalos, hippos, and leopards. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari on Lake Mburo, witnessing crocodiles, hippos, and an array of bird species.
Day 4: Transfer to Mount Elgon National Park
Leave Lake Mburo and embark on a scenic journey to Mount Elgon National Park, known for its lush vegetation, stunning waterfalls, and diverse wildlife. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and relax amidst nature’s tranquility.
Day 5: Mount Elgon Hiking and Nature Exploration
Experience the majesty of Mount Elgon as you embark on a guided hike to explore its diverse landscapes, including bamboo forests, moorlands, and high-altitude vegetation. Discover pristine waterfalls and marvel at breathtaking vistas along the way. Keep an eye out for wildlife, such as monkeys and various bird species.
Day 6: Return to Entebbe and Departure
After breakfast, bid farewell to Mount Elgon National Park and embark on your return journey to Entebbe. Arrive in time for your departure flight, taking with you unforgettable memories of your Lake Mburo and Mount Elgon adventures.
