Day-by-Day Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Take some time to relax and prepare for the exciting journey ahead.
Day 2: Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Embark on a visit to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where you can spot rhinos in the wild. Afterward, continue the journey to Murchison Falls National Park, known for its stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife.
Day 3: Game Drive and Boat Safari in Murchison Falls National Park
Start the day with an early morning game drive, where you’ll have the opportunity to spot a range of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, and buffaloes. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari along the Nile River, marvel at the impressive Murchison Falls, and spot hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species.
Day 4: Top of the Falls and Transfer to Kibale Forest
Visit the “Top of the Falls” for a magnificent view of the Nile River as it squeezes through a narrow gorge, creating a powerful cascade. Later, journey to Kibale Forest, home to a diverse population of primates.
Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest
Embark on an incredible chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale Forest. Traverse the forest trails and witness the playful behavior of these intelligent primates. Learn about their habits and conservation efforts from experienced guides.
Day 6: Bigodi Swamp Walk and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Explore the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary on a guided nature walk, where you’ll encounter various bird species, monkeys, and other wildlife. Continue your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its diverse ecosystems and incredible wildlife.
Day 7: Game Drive and Boat Safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Embark on a game drive in the morning, spotting diverse wildlife such as elephants, lions, leopards, and antelopes. Follow it up with a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, renowned for its concentration of hippos and crocodiles. Keep an eye out for abundant birdlife as well.
Day 8: Cultural Encounter in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Engage in a cultural encounter with the local communities near Queen Elizabeth National Park. Learn about their traditions, visit local markets, and enjoy traditional performances.
Day 9: Ishasha Sector and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Visit the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, home to unique tree-climbing lions. Afterward, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, famous for its population of endangered mountain gorillas.
Day 10: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Embark on an unforgettable gorilla trekking experience, tracking and observing these incredible creatures in their natural habitat. Spend precious moments in their presence, witnessing their behavior firsthand.
Day 11: Batwa Pygmy Cultural Encounter and Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of the Batwa Pygmy community. Interact with community members, learn about their ancient customs, and enjoy traditional music and dance. Later, transfer to Lake Mburo National Park.
Day 12: Game Drive and Departure
Embark on a morning game drive in Lake Mburo National Park, spotting wildlife like zebras, impalas, and buffalos. Afterward, transfer back to Entebbe for your departure, taking with you unforgettable memories of your Uganda wildlife and cultural encounters.
