Day-by-Day Itinerary:

Day 1: Fun Retreat Resort, Arusha.

On arrival at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport, you’ll be personally met and escorted by our driver-guide to the stylish Arusha Hotel in the heart of Tanzania’s safari center where you’ll spend the night. Activities, including swimming, shopping, or visiting the Tanzanite Experience Museum are available for those who arrive early. Dinner and Overnight at Fun Retreat Resort.

Day 2: Kirurumu Tarangire Lodge, Tarangire National Park.

Drive in a comfortable vehicle to Tarangire National Park and the luxurious tented camp set in picture-perfect acacia woodland and grassland outside the park boundary. After a relaxing lunch, we’ll head off for a game viewing in the national park, famous for its giant baobab trees, large herds of elephants, plains game and predators. Tarangire also boasts a large variety of spectacular bird life including endemic species. Dinner and overnight at the Kirurumu Tarangire Lodge.

Day 3: Kirurumu Manyara Lodge, Lake Manyara National Park.

Breakfast. Drive to Lake Manyara National Park, passing through the cool shade of the groundwater forest before reaching the lakeshore. The Park is best known for its tree-climbing lions, but you are more likely to encounter elephants, buffalo, primates and astounding bird life. After a picnic lunch, you continue game-viewing. Return as the sun sets behind the distant highlands and climb the Great Rift Valley escarpment to Kirurumu Manyara Lodge on its edge for a relaxing dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Kirurumu Serengeti Camp (Ndutu), Ndutu.

After breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the descent road of the Crater some 2,000 feet below. Tour the Lerai Forest with its yellow-barked acacias, searching for giant-tusked elephants, rare black rhinos and black-maned lions. Ascend the crater rim at dusk through the verdant montane forest for dinner and overnight at Kirurumu Ndutu Camp.

Day 5: Kirurumu Serengeti Central Camp, Seronera.

In the morning you depart for the Serengeti via Olduvai Gorge to visit the interesting museum at this world-famous archaeological site containing fossils of our early two-million-year-old human ancestors. Continue on a game drive through the vast Serengeti National Park to the luxurious Kirurumu Serengeti Lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, head out for game drives before returning to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Kirurumu Serengeti Central Camp, Seronera.

Breakfast. Full-day game drives in the Serengeti, home to the greatest concentration of large mammals on earth. Non-migratory species include large pride of lions, solitary leopards, cheetahs and graceful impalas. The landscape is characterized by vast stretches of open plains, punctuated by kopjes, rock formations that have survived from the pre-Cambrian period, and open woodlands. After a sumptuous dinner, relax by the campfire, under a canopy of stars. Overnight at the Kirurumu Serengeti Lodge.

Day 7: Hotel Riu Jambo, Nungwi.

Breakfast, and set out for a game drive en route to Seronera airstrip for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar. The flight departs at 1015hrs and arrives at 1420hrs. Upon arrival, you will be collected by your private transfer to Hotel Riu Jambo for 3 nights/4 days stays on an all-inclusive basis in superior room/s, from Day 7 to Day 10.
Zanzibar is a Tanzanian archipelago off the coast of East Africa. On its main island, Unguja, familiarly called Zanzibar, is Stone Town, a historic trade center with Swahili and Islamic influences. Its winding lanes present minarets, carved doorways and 19th-century landmarks such as the House of Wonders, a former sultan’s palace. The northern villages of Nungwi and Kendwa have wide beaches lined with hotels.

Day 8: Hotel Riu Jambo, Nungwi.

Relaxation – Hotel Riu Jambo day on an all-inclusive basis in superior room/s.

Day 10: Airport.

Breakfast. Morning at leisure pending your outgoing flight departing times. Check out and transfer to Zanzibar Abeid Amani Karume International Airport for an international flight back home.

  • Service of an English-speaking professional driver/guide.
  • Transport whilst on safari in a 4×4 safari Land cruiser with pop-up roof for game viewing.
  • All transfers upon arrival and departure as in the itinerary.
  • Full Board Accommodations whilst on safari.

  • All game drives as detailed in the itinerary.
  • Drivers’ salary and allowances plus park fees for driver and vehicle.
