The Tanzania eVisa is an online visa, launched in 2018, which allows citizens from eligible countries to travel to and within Tanzania, including Zanzibar. The Tanzania electronic visa is valid for tourism and leisure purposes, such as a holiday in mainland Tanzania or Zanzibar, or to visit family or friends.

Nationals of certain countries can obtain a tourist visa upon arrival in Tanzania at any port of entry. You are advised to get the visa application form from your flight cabin crew and fill it a few hours before landing. Kindly be informed that the queue to obtain a visa upon arrival is often long.
