A location “where the ruins meet the Beach” is Bagamoyo town. It takes one hour and forty minutes to drive from Dar es Salaam City to Bagamoyo town, which is situated 70 kilometers to the north of the city.

In addition to the historical landmarks of the Arab settlers, tourists to Bagamoyo will also be able to witness the history of German and British colonization in Tanzania. In 18th-century East Africa, a town gained notoriety for its involvement in the ivory and slave trade. A few fascinating places to visit are the College of arts, museums, mosques, monuments, and historic churches.

The person who designed this itinerary spent more than 20 years residing in Bagamoyo town. He is well-versed in the history of the community. He is prepared to share with you all of the secrets and anecdotes. You can email me or directly reserve the tour if you’d like to come.
